Re: Audio Hat Hangup
To All,
?
I also was having similar problems with audio hat and teensy pin connections. I found that the long pin headers have a pin that is flat .015 thick, were as the short pin headers had a .025 square shape pin. When inserting the long pin header into the short pin headers the flat pin was not making a good connection.

Hi Jerry-
?
I am already working on adding a hub to the T41-2.? I found what looks to be a good candidate on Aliexpress.? It's a small board.
I wanted USB C connectors.? Here it is:
?
?
That board should be here in the next day or two.? I will mount it in the place formerly occupied by the 24 volt boost module.
The primary reason for adding the hub is because I am adding a USB audio codec to the T41-2.
I did a few experiments with the TeensyDuino Audio library, which has a USB audio object.? It works, but . . .
The problem is that it is inflexible.? 44.1ksps only.? Plus sucking up more precious RAM.
I'm solving the problem with hardware.? Will see how it goes soon.? The experiments continue . . .

Since those native serial ports are all at digital levels (0 & 3.3VDC, & inverted from normal RS-232), you'd essentially need any of a variety of common TTL-to-RS232 level convertor chips in order to connect any of those ports to a controlling PC. Mark J Culross KD5RXT
