Re: Dead CAT
Note additionally. I don't like it when people suggest things like "'de-oxy' the pins on all cables". It's not too unusual for issues to show when people do this. Unplug all cables to the ServoCAT

Re: Dead CAT

I think I killed my ServoCAT. ?I believe it's a Gen 3, purchased 02/2011. The power in is 13.2v, the fuse on the PCB is good, and the voltage reads 13.2v on both sides of the fuse. ?The power LED

Re: LiFePO4 batteries
You won't see 14+V out of your LFP battery. 14.4 is a reasonable (though on the high side depending on who you ask) charging voltage. As soon as you take the battery off of the charger, you'll quickly

Re: LiFePO4 batteries
Eric, I run 15v into my powered ground board and have a 12v regulator in my virtual mirror box to power all my gear. The regulator accepts 8 to 24 volts in and provides up to 10 amps at 12 volts out.

Re: Conversion to a Smart Telescope
Paul, The R-Pi's don't have built in RS232 ports. They are easily added via external hardware. I find the Waveshare 2 port hat works well. You can also use the 2nd serial port on the Waveshare to feed
