Steve, Gen2 will use a hand pad - it has the 4 yellow buttons, a green button, and a blue one. The cord is a stereo 1/8" headphone type cable. Also on the front to the left it says PC PORT. A Gen3

You need to open ServoCAT and change three jumpers to configure it the same way as for Argo Navis - please see the attached photo. You do not need a new cable to connect the serial port on Nexus DSC
