The SS Mary Rose is a 150-year-old vessel, meaning she is low on luxuries and high on maintenance. She cruises at warp 5 and the last exploring she did was back when Kirk was still fighting Klingons. In short, she is very much a working-class vessel, which means our focus is quality writing built on great characters and interesting situations. We focus on interesting concepts in which our characters are forced to think and not fight, their way to survival whether it is mirror universe escapades, late cargo delivery or working with the Fenris rangers to make the universe just that little less bad. Players will be encouraged to be proactive about the sims direction and the situations the crew encounters. We aim for an evolving story-arc that includes plenty of foreshadowing and provides all involved with invigorating challenges, fresh ideas, and a fun environment to write in. An original Post-Apocalyptic RPG featuring original characters with elements of Children of Men and Stephen King’s The Stand mixed in. In this game, which takes place in 2012, the world as we know it has come to an end. On December 21st, 2012, disaster swept across the country. Natural disasters including tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tornados left the world nearly destroyed. Strange weather occurring where it should not. By December 25th, Christmas Day, most of the population was dead but the earth itself seemed to cease its revolt and calm down. Strange weather remained, however, leaving the United States a mixture of desert in the west and tropical areas of light rain in the east. For those that survived the horrors of those four days, the tragedy did not end there. The majority of the female population became ill almost immediately afterwards. Was it due to pollution in the drinking supply? Was it some sort of illness that affected only women? The solution was never discovered, but most died before January 1st. Now, it’s January 2013, a new year and all that remains of this world are scattered individuals, none of whom know one another. Most domesticated animals are dead and the wild ones are scarce. Year 2401 USS Ares NCC 1836 The Ares is an Excelsior II Class Starship. A month ago, most of its senior bridge crew was killed after what surviving crew claim was a Romulan Warbird with weapons far superior to what they’ve ever seen before. Its cloak was undetectable. It fired and disabled the Gemini without uncloaking destroying the entire bridge deck and leaving it with only thrusters. The surviving crew says it uncloaked just long enough to be seen so the survivors saw who attacked, and then left them to hobble back to the Starbase. The Ares, having repairs and upgrades rushed, is now in the Romulan Free Zone. In orbit of Freecloud, the crew has been sent on shoreleave as a cover to Commander Marissa Kelly's true misison to retrieve a VIP. Top ranking crew positions are still available. After several years away on a much needed break, I was inspired to jump back in after seeing Endgame. Game description: Welcome to Heroes Rising an alternative universe game that will be set in two different time frames. The first will be 2015 several months after the end of CA:TWS and will tell the stories as the United States attempts to rebuild it's spy apparatus as the avengers work to bring in Winter Soldier and one of their own who has gone Rogue. Once this portion of the story is complete we will take a step jump 4 years into 2019 where HYDRA has now successfully reinvented itself and has become the primary evil on Earth. The avengers as we knew most of them will be gone and the new discovered mutants will be forced to step up to the plate to defend the Earth from HYDRA. However like any good story there will be a wrinkle. A new enemy will show itself in an attempt to take over the planet and destroy both good and evil. This enemy will be far more advanced they anyone has ever seen. It will turn former enemies into partners and change the Earth as we know it. We will be accepting the following character type's for the game: Avengers(see timeline as to who will not be available), Mutants, Inhumans,Kree and any of those b-list sort of characters that no one ever thinks of but we want.
