Boundless Sky takes inspiration from all corners of the sci fi genre - Firefly, the Expanse, and others - and adds our own creative twists. Climb aboard the Pōmaika'i a Sila, a freight hauler with a new crew and a penchant for taking jobs just this side of legal. Since the end of the Klingon War, the Federation has been in relative peace. The Saladin Class, USS Loki, has just finished a 3 month refit and is ready to return to active duty. In this game, which takes place in 2012, the world as we know it has come to an end. On December 21st, 2012, disaster swept across the country. Natural disasters including tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tornados left the world nearly destroyed. Strange weather occurring where it should not. By December 25th, Christmas Day, most of the population was dead but the earth itself seemed to cease its revolt and calm down. Strange weather remained, however, leaving the United States a mixture of desert in the west and tropical areas of light rain in the east. For those that survived the horrors of those four days, the tragedy did not end there. The majority of the female population became ill almost immediately afterwards. Was it due to pollution in the drinking supply? Was it some sort of illness that affected only women? The solution was never discovered, but most died before January 1st. Now, it’s January 2013, a new year and all that remains of this world are scattered individuals, none of whom know one another. Most domesticated animals are dead and the wild ones are scarce. Title of Role Playing Game: Heroes Rising Age limit, if any: 18 and up Detailed Description Heroes Rising is an alternative universe game that will be set in two different time frames. The first will be 2015 several months after the end of CA:TWS and will tell the stories as the United States attempts to rebuild it's spy apparatus as the avengers work to bring in Winter Soldier and one of their own who has gone rogue. Once this portion of the story is complete we will jump 4 years into 2019 where HYDRA has now successfully reinvented itself and has become the primary evil on Earth. The avengers as we knew them will be gone and new heroes will be forced to step up to the plate to defend the Earth from HYDRA. However like any good story there will be a wrinkle. A new enemy will show itself in an attempt to take over the planet and destroy both good and evil. This enemy will be far more warlike they anyone has ever seen. It will turn former enemies into partners and change the Earth as we know it. I’m in my 30s and would prefer someone close to my age. Older than me is completely fine. Here are a few ideas. My ideas are m/f with me playing the female My character is a mail order bride where my character responds to an ad basically because she has no choice. She would be moving to somewhere out west from the Midwest. Her parents are tired of waiting for her to be married, and they don’t have much money. The man needs an heir so his land doesn’t go to his enemy/family foe or something. She doesn’t realize until she gets there that the man is much older than her, but she’s stuck. There is another, younger man in town that she catches the eyes of. The older man isn’t nice, and eventually she will end up with the younger guy. But I’d like the relationship to build while she is married to the older guy.. (not necessarily sex but the tension is there and they are friends). I also enjoy historical Scotland, England, Europe. Big fan of Outlander here. I like Sci Fi, as long as we are both humans, but we can be around whatever species. Leia/Han are my favorites. Also a fan of Sisko from DS9. Hello folks, I'm looking for a new home/sim in which to play my favorite character - Rayek tr'Lhoell - a former Romulan Tal'Shiar, now Starfleet officer (and possibly his wife). Rayek has got a lot of backstory and unique characteristics. He was created as an NPC originally for a yahoo-group and 5 years later after that shut down I revived him as a main character when I joined the Shadowfleet site. Strangely Supernatural - what started off as an idea for a 'Stranger Things' RPG has morphed into a 'what if' roleplay. What if Sam, Dean and Bobby were shoved into the Stranger Things universe? We are starting right at season one for Stranger Things, Season two of Supernatural from the 'Tall Tales' episode (so no prizes for guessing who sent the boys to the Stranger Things universe). Number 2- My character has escaped from an abusive marriage. She ends up in front of a house. Either the main male character’s house or his sister’s house. Or maybe the brother and sister live together or something. Just so my character doesn’t start just living with him and no one else, but will still be close to him to get to know him. She becomes friends with the sister, and the main character becomes protective of her and they all try to figure out how to get my character a divorce. Which would be hard since it’s in Scotland in like the 17 or 1800s. I would prefer Scotland, but this could work anywhere Also, I do enjoy Sci fi romance, but I prefer to play and play with humans, although any kind of characters could be around us. I have a supers game running on groups.io but this is for a purely email game. There are no openings in the groups.io but there are two openings in the email-only game. Rules are Hero System 5e. I can help you build your character--I'm more interested in your role-playing skills. You must post at least 4 times per week. The game is underway so you can join immediately. Some Champions mainstays like VIPER are part of the game, but that's more for trivia. If you don't know what VIPER is you'll still be fine. We'll 'splain. The Lost Isle is not some tropical paradise. It may seem that way at first, but deep in the jungle of the island there are much larger things to worry about than just figuring out where to get a refreshing drink of water, or a nice meal. The isle is strange with it's decrepit amusement park ruins, with dense vegetation growing through every crack and leaving the once captive creatures to roam free and flourish. The locals are people's souls who are lost. They all seemed to be drawn to this place. The only thing linking these people together is.. death or that they are at the cusp of falling into death's icey grip, they are merely lost souls in purgatory.
