Timeline and Setting
The first story began in June of 1875. Before beginning your character's bio, check the current plot for story dates. Sagas of the Wild West takes place primarily in a fictionalized version of the towns of Kalispell, Flathead County, and the surrounding area. ?
Premise
Sagas of the Wild West is a roleplaying game set in the American Territory of Montana, circa 1875 onward. The site's overall theme loosely mirrors the classic Western television series and movies of the late 1950s through the early 1970s. If you have ever seen episodes of Bonanza, The Big Valley, The Virginian, or watched a classic John Wayne movie such as El Dorado, then you are in the right place! Our goal is to emulate that era of TV and films. ?

Sagas uses a forum platform that has been developed specifically for roleplayers. It is being actively developed which means it improves consistently. Only one account required and as many characters as you'd like to play can be added to it.

If you're going to be absent for an extended period, please let us know in our Discord. Actually yes, brainstorming would be great. I am asking people what time period they want and no one is helping me pin it down, but I know 3 to 4 others who are down and dependable other than us, so that's like 7 or more in the end which is enough for a good game, I am even thinking 9 but I know 7 for sure. But we need a time period that will work and I am thinking perhaps if i know who you want to play in the HP verse I will be able to pin down a time. So write me off list if you will, I can't get your email to show up, I am blaisegellert@... I can tell you the hp characters who are claimed for sure too, and you can give me a list of who you'd like time period depending. What mine are up to depends on time too. I know for Buffy chars, you can have Angel and Willow, and i will take Dru, I can do Spike if no one else does, I am good at Snarky but prefer if someone else would I have another player I am talking to. I have an excellent writer for the Mayer, so freaking accurate!!! So we'll have to find him something to do, maybe he can work with the Lestranges or something, would be nice at least post Voldemort which sounds like it'll line up after season 5 as you mentioned. Hopefully this is making sense, sort of the end of a busy day here and I am behind, thus yes asking for brainstorming help, lol. |

The dragon happened right at the end of season 5, right after they destroyed the circle of the blackthorn and faced the demon horde at the very end of the last episode. Angel said "I don't know about you, but I'd like to fight the dragon" or words to that effect. Starting from that point we will be making things up ourselves, carrying on from when the series ended.

As for Harry Potter lol I've read the books like a gazillion times. I'm constantly re-reading them when I know I should be reading new books instead, so yes I'd be down for that. As for who, it will depend on the plot / timeline, etc. It would be interesting to play someone like Willow in that scenario though, explore the differences between magic in the Buffyverse and Potterverse and explore if Willow received an invitation to Ilvermorny, and if not, why not.
