Title: Agamemnon RPG

Age; No age, just skill.

Descrip: This club is based on Captain Sheridan's old ship, the
Agamemnon, an
Omega Class Earth Alliance Destroyer Ship. Currently on assingment to
chart the new areas that recent Jumpgates that have been installed
into, the Agamemnon isn't looking for trouble, but if it finds them,
heaven help anyone who gets in their way. Set 3 months after the
formation of the Interstellar Alliance, the original crew of the
Agamemnon was captured in an attack by the Drakh. The Agamemnon was
left drifting, and eventually found. Though slightly outdated with
the new Artifical Gravity ships like the Warlock, the Agamemnon is
still a force to be reckoned with.

Detailed Description: This game is a play by email
game based on the fantastic show called The Dead Zone.
If you know the show, and love it like I do, AND love
writing and rpg games, then this is for you. We are
still in need of a lot of main characters, and
rotating characters. This is an Auditioned game.

Title of Role Playing Game: The Bloody Sun

Age limit, if any: Folks should be at least 18 to
play.

Detailed Description: The Bloody Sun is based on the
Darkover books by Marion Zimmer Bradley. If you have
read them, then you know of what I speak, but if not,
here is a little blurp...
Darkover. A cold, harsh planet suprisingly teaming
with a myriad of different life forms. It sat
untouched in deep space for millions of years. 
Then a radical change occured in the form of an
emergency landing. With the sounds of alarms, screams,
and the destruction of machine and earth, a lost ship
from Terra crashed onto the surface of the planet
violently introducing humanity into the unsuspecting
world. The survivors stayed together and a colony was
born that grew into a society and they became the
people of Darkover.
Time moved on and facts began to fade into stories.
Stories became legends, and legends became myths until
finally they were forgotten all together. Any
connection with space and another planet was lost as
the people found their own way, and their own magic.
It was found that some of the population had extra
sensory abilities, and with the descovery of Star
Stones, those abilities were greatly magnified. With
close to no metals to be found, the powers of the
Comyn, those who possesed the stones and the power to
rule, became the only highly developed technology of
the planet. The rest of the population settled into an
agricultural society and mind set. Quickly powers grew
and developed as did myths of magic, Gods and
religion. An intire social infrastructure was born.
It is into that world we find ourselves thrown. A
world with mysticals powers, strange and inviting
creatures and a patriarcle, feudal form of government.
Magic and wonder rule the day for some, while the
quest for power rules the hearts of others.
Enter into this world with an open mind and heart and
you just might find truth hidden deep with in the
fiction of Darkover.

at least a basic knowlege of the Darkover universe and
it's people. You don't have to have read EVERY book,
or know every detail by heart, but I also can't tell
you everything you need to know in an email. I have
also created a VERY user friendly game website that
gives you everything you need for joining and playing

Title of Role Playing Game: A New Day

Age limit, if any: For this game, I am asking that you
be 21 or over, or a REALLY mature at least 18 year
old. Simply because adult situations can, and probably
will occur.

Detailed Description: It is the world as we know it,
but not. There are dark things, evil things that the
general society at large only knows of in dreams and
bed time stories. The closest the average Joe Shmoe
has gotten to the reality of our world was the 8
dollar movie he went to last week. But now the world
is changing. Things that were myths are becoming
reality. Fairy tales seem to be truth, legends are
real life, and evil... well, evil wears many faces,
and they are all BAD!!! Of course, there are as many
good faces as there are bad, for the battle between
good and evil is what makes life. But now the battles
are hotter, and evil is winning...... blah blah
blah... this is an rpg that crosses over characters
from Buffy, Angel, Highlander, La Femme Nikita,
Charmed, Witchblade, and any other sci fi characters
that might fit. The basic premise is that all these
things are real, and are now beginning to find out
about each other. Immortals are finding out about
Vampires, Witches are finding out about Slayers, and
so on... We haven't been around all that long, but we
already have some great players and interesting
storylines!

Title of Role Playing Game: More Human than Human Adult RPG

Age limit, if any: This game is for Adults of 18 years or older.

Detailed Description: The genre of the game involves superheroes,
though this particular metahuman genre strives to be more realistic
than other four color comic genres. Also, there is an element of
espionage in the game, with emphasis on conspiracies and the unknown.
This game is set on Modern Earth and uses custom created characters.

OTHER: A character bio has to be filled out and submitted to the list
owner (me) before play begins.

Title of Role Playing Game: Watcher's Legends

Age limit: I would prefer to have people be 18 years or older and
also act at least that age. Meaning if you are 16 but are mature you
might be let in, also if you are 40 and act like a child…well no. I
can't enforce this really but if you do continually act in a manner
befitting someone of a less mature age then you will be let go. Sorry.

Detailed Description:

We are the Watchers, a secret organization created thousands of years
ago. We know of the existence of Immortals… we watch them, record
their extraordinary lives, but we do not interfere in them. Why do we
do all of this? To learn… History is a record of change and
evolution, only by looking at it, studying it can we learn from it,
make sure we do not repeat our mistakes. Immortals are living records
of that History and from them we can learn so much…

Well now that the PR spiel is done I'll get down to business. ;) This
is a new game, hasn't even started yet. You may play an Immortal, a
Watcher, Hunter or just a plain mortal (whether they know of Immies
or are just college students curious as to why their prof looks the
same as the picture in the yearbook from five years ago is up to
you).

Now while I do have some plans for a "grand scheme/plot" I also want
you guys, the players, to be involved in plotting this game out. So
in that vein when you do join up please feel free to send in some
ideas for plots or stories along with your character bios.

I do not anticipate the game starting right away, I myself am busy
with school as I bet many of you are (or busy with other things
perhaps), so we will have time to play around with things, place
characters etc. while we are getting ready to go.


Other information: You cannot post, once the game starts, as a
character until the bio has been submitted to me and approved. You
may use a character of yours from another game if you like, but
please tweak it and add any info needed to adhere to the setup of
Watcher's Legends – it will save both you and me time if you give me
the proper information right off the bat. In that same vein please
look over the web page thoroughly, read the Rules, the History and
World sections so you can get a better feel for things.

I also would like to remind you that not everyone has to be Immortal,
nor a good guy. Please also note that the Watcher's are a secret
organization…so not all Immortals will know about them.

Once we get started I would like to see a pretty active game, posting
at least once every three days or so in an active main story line,
once a week if it is a smaller one. Please see the rules for more
info and details.

The end of the world has occurred, or is it the beginning?

A single madman with a clever mind began a war, a war which never
happened, but which did happen. Missiles fired from everywhere to
attack non-existant targets, often inside their own country of
origin. The madman, whose name was never known but who will be known
for as long as is possible, was killed by his own virus which set him
as one of the non-existant targets. Armies marched and few survived.
Cities became rubbel in an instant. The war ended moments after it
began but lasted years longer as the virus, and human nature, ran its
course. In this way, the world ended.

Through the wastelands, though, one saying became a reality,
though: "Life finds a way." Years passed since the world ended.
Nature reclaimed land which had been stolen by humanity and the world
became a savage land. Survivors learned to adapt or die. Civilization
was dead and buried, but not forgotten. A couple million years ago,
the world was made up primarily of deserts, jungles, oceans, and
tundras. Now, it was yet again. The living moved beyond the dead and
resumed living. In this way, the world began.

Chaos reigns, but out of chaos can come order if justice can shine
through anarchy. The world is a harsh place, and even harsher for
those attempting to regain civilization. Chaos is always present, but
the war caused Order to weaken, thus allowing Chaos to grow and rule
unchecked.

In the Southwest of what had formerly been the United States, the
area had been reclaimed by the desert, but not entirely. Cities had
been ruined and destroyed, but not entirely. Where cities had been
left in ruins, they were beginning to be reclaimed. Cities like San
Diego, Los Angeles, Reno, Las Vegas, and others found life begin to
grow in them once more. But it is a harsh life and Chaos is strong.
Order and Justice cries out for someone, anyone, to come to its aid.
Will you answer that call?.

Wasteland-X is a unique combination of the X-men, Mad Max, and the
computer game Wasteland. It is considered rated hard R. Made up characters

It has been six years since Magneto tried to mutate the world's
leaders, and much has changed. Xavier is dead. Cyclops and Jean Grey-
Summers now run the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters with the
help of Storm and the Wolverine. They are trying to help train the
next generation of mutants to protect a world that fears and hates
them.

The mantle of the X-Men has been passed to a new team. Join Rogue,
Shadowcat, Iceman, Pyro, Jubilee, and others as they fight to protect
humanity from the Brotherhood of Mutants. Mystique, Sabretooth, and
the Toad are still trying to carry out Magneto's plans for mutant
domination, and both teams fight to recuit the newest and youngest
mutants on the plant.

Welcome to the dark side of the comicsverse. Dark Marvel is primarily based
on the Marvel Comic Universe, but is not limited to it. The basic premise is
Mutants, Aliens, and Magic trying to survive in a world becoming increasingly
hostile to anyone with superpowers.

To give a better idea of how we aren't limited to strict Marvel comics, if
someone wants to bring in Spawn, we'll see how he works out, Batman, we'll
give him a try, Ash from the Evil Dead movies, ditto. Have a particular anime
or video game character you'd like to try, we'll see how they work out. So
far characters from these areas have done quite well.

We do deal with mature topics and graphic sex and violence from time to time,
so please consider us an adult game.

Title of Role Playing Game: Wicked Blue

Age limit, if any: I want 13 and up, not because of the content but
because of the way young people write so poorly..

Detailed Description:
Genre: Anime, Digimon
Description: In the year 5002, 3000 years after Daisuke, Hikari and
the other Chosen Children saved the Dejital World from destruction, a
new threat is born; An unknown force has began to corrupt the digital
plain once more. Almost all of the islands in the Dejital World have
rose up into the sky and few remain in the oceans; the majority of
the digimon have adapted to either air or water but there are still a
great number of those who live on the floating islands in the sky.
One thing about the sky in the Dejital World is that during the day
it's no longer it's kind blue color but a deep scarlet while at night
it's a dark blackish-blue hue with an orange, glowing moon that is
almost always crescent and rarely full, it's forests have grown dark
and unwelcoming, much of the once deep jungles have turned into
deserts and not only with sand but some just ice and freezing winds,
the days have grown shorter and the nights longer; all of these
puzzling things have yet to be explained and the digimon can only
guess what it is. Who or what is causing all this in a mystery to all
who inhabit this world of data and they can't rely on the human world
for help because all the gates were closed long ago and though humans
have almost forgotten the once cherished digimon over the years in
the Dejital World all of the creatures are praying that the Chosen
Children will come once again and save both worlds from certain
destruction. In the human world things aren't going much better,
large cities have replaced almost all of the once green and lush
lands of Earth, the skies have grown gray and you rarely see the
white snow on great mountain tops anymore. Most people care for
nothing but themselves but those few who still have hope may be in
for a big surprise...

Other infomation: To be able to join this group you will be required
to fill out an application (found at the homepage) which includes all
of you characters information and a sample of your writing. You are
expected to follow the rules listed on the site and to post at least
once every three days unless you inform me that you are unable to for
whatever reason. Also, don't think that this is one of you
standard "Let's save the world and beat all the bad guys!" digimon
rpg. I intend to take this deeper and have as many twists in the plot
that make sense to create a more interesting world to play in for all
the role players. So, if you join then please plan on taking this rpg
seriously, I don't want a bunch of moronic role players that can't
write a decent sentences waltzing around my rpg and annoying me and
all the others that take it seriously ok?

Zombie: Reign of Terror

Have you ever wondered whether you have what it takes to survive in a
world gone mad? Have you ever thought, deep down, what it would be
like to wake up one morning and find the streets deserted? Have you
ever dreamed about turning a corner and coming face to face with a
horde of Walking Dead who'd like nothing better than to tear you into
little pieces?

You have? Great! Then this club is just for you.

Realistically speaking, the only reason you're reading this is
because you have an interest in George A. Romero's Living Dead movies
and/or the Resident Evil movie, or games ... indeed, any
movie/game of the Zombie genre so stop reading and join. We need
help ... there are just far too many of them out there and we can't
survive alone. We need help ... we need YOU!

Set in the fictional Arizonan town of Jamesville, population
15,000 ... uhhhhh ... I mean a couple of dozen, a small band of
survivors are struggling to remain alive against almost overwhelming
odds. So far they've been lucky but can their luck hold out? Will the
government send aid? Is there still a government? Indeed, is there
still an America ... or a world?


Here is a sample post from the game ... if it sounds interesting to

'The creature that had been Jeannie Walters heard the growl of the
engine and she looked up from her feast. Dropping the severed arm of
her ... husband ... she lurched to her feet and shambled after the
shapes that emitted no scent of life at all. They were of no interest
to Jeannie but the small part of her brain that still functioned
associated that growl with life. That hated of all things. The
living had something that Jeannie didn't and Jeannie wanted it. Her
base functions told her that she needed to feel the warmth of the
living blood in her mouth and throat. If she couldn't experience
the vigour of life then no-one should and, if Jeannie had her way, no-
one would. She moaned deep in her airless throat. No longer did her
lungs inflate with air ... no longer did her heart beat, sending
that once precious fluid pumping through her veins ... no longer did
her throat work to drain her mouth of saliva for Jeannie no longer
salivated. Yet she still hungered ... a desperate hunger for that
which was now denied her ... life!!
Jeannie and her ... companions ... shuffled their uncoordinated way
towards the food source. The scent was different to that which they
had already tasted and, had she the capabilty, Jeannies mouth would
have streamed with drool as, in some distant part of her brain, she
anticipated the taste of the soft, warm flesh and hot, coppery blood.
The Zombies flooded into the road behind the Whitehorses truck and
the road ahead was blocked ... made impassable by the wreckage of
several cars some of which still contained the grisly remains of
their drivers. More bodies lay strewn across the road in varying
stages of consumption.
It appeared that the only options available were a narrow road to the
left or to do a 360 and barrel back through the shambling beasts
behind and leave town again.'

Oh, as this list can, and will, contain graphically descriptive
scenes of a sexual nature, also violence and language, it has been
decided that no members under the age of 18 years will be permitted
to join.
However, as we have no way of determining your true age, we're going

Title of Role Playing Game: Buffy: Back To The First Season

Age limit, if any: There is no Age limit

Detailed Description: In every Generation there is a chosen one
blah blah blah. In this RPG we are starting from Ep. 1 right after
Darla kills that boy. You can be anyone from any session as long
as you shape them to fit (i.e. Riely would be a Senior be cause he
is about two years older than Buffy. Dawn is going to have to be
dicussed.) So come on and have some fun.

This is not actually an RPG but I thought that it would be relevant here since we are all writers...right?

Title: Our Warped Little Minds

Age Limit: None really, all types and ages are welcome.

Description: Plain and simply, it is a writing group. If you write stories and would like to get feedback and opinions about them then this is the place for you. We share stories and even do a bit of Flash Fiction every now and then. It is a slow group, not getting too many posts but I never expected it to be fast moving anyway. Writing and creating a story takes time, so it is the perfect speed and pace for writers. A non pressure group. You don't have to share if you don't want to you can just join to read the others work and get ideas. All we ask is that any criticism be POSITIVE!
