Title of Role Playing Game: Wardens of the Imaginarium

Age limit, if any: Hey, any age. Well, hopefully around 13, it might get a little adult.

Detailed Description: Fantasy, and its about a group of people called Wardens of the Imaginarium. You see there isn't just one world, there are over a million, and there's a magic 'gateway' to all of them. It's called the Imaginarium where, if you have a little magic, anything you imagnine can become real.The Wardens of the Imaginarium protect the people of other worlds from evil, itrigue, despots, etc. You were called into this job by the mysterious Head and Madame who take care of it, they also watch over rookies. Just in case anyone is in over their head or another char pops in.
They travel the Imaginarium singly but usually in a group of 2 or more. You can look however you want, it really doesn't matter, and act however you prefer.

Other infomation:As long as your grammer is readable you can write however you choose, but do remember some people might be translating. Hopefully.

Hey all!

My Episode II RPG ( ) is in
some
serious need of dark siders.

I also need someone to take up playing Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth
Sidious/Senator Palpatine.

It's a good game. We've got some pretty simple storylines going, but I'm
always looking for good writers who love to complicate things
storyline-wise. This is a completely free-form game that takes place where
Episode II left off. It's also an alternate universe, so if you want to
bring back dead characters from Episode I, or throw in characters from
SW-based books/comics (Episode II universe and prior, so no, you can't be
Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, etc.)

If you want to play a cannon character from any of those genres, I do
require a writing sample/audition. It's nothing big, though. Just a 1-2
paragraph ditty of you writing in character. It lets me know if you have
an
adequate grasp of basic English grammar, spelling, and a good grasp of
your
chosen character.

Watcherchronicles – Wanted Gun, Wesley, Lila, Fred, the Host and
Cordelia



This is a crossover shared story writing RPG experience where we've
mixed together Highlander Immortals, Buffy Watchers, and characters
from Angel the Series along with White Wolf's World of Darkness
creatures such as Vampires, Mages, Wraiths, and even the occasional
Werewolf. This is a dark list with lots of role playing. It is for
people who really want to fully play and share the life of a
character. It is not for the faint of heart. You can play an
Immortal, a Watcher, or a World of Darkness character.

The current game is set in New Orleans. It is 2002. We break from
Angel canon right after he leaves Sunnydale. Doyle has not died in
our world, and Cordelia doesn't have visions - not yet anyway. We
pick up Highlander after the end of the series but many of Duncan's
kills never happened. The Four Horsemen weren't killed, Richie was,
and Byron is alive for a start.

An audition will be required to play any canon characters, and a
writing sample will be required for original characters as well. A
complete history for all characters must be submitted to the ST
before you can begin playing the character.

Birds of Prey RPG – New Game many openings



This will be an adult 18+ RPG set in the Birds of Prey world of New
Gotham were Helena Kyle, Batman and Catwoman's daughter will fight
Harley Quinn, and other villians. Black Canary and Oracle along with
the Huntress form the Birds of Prey. This list will start up when all
canon characters are filled, and at least 5 episodes of the program
have been aired.

Smallville RPG – Wanted original and cross genre characters



Follows the adventures of Clark Kent, Lex Luthor, Lana Lang, Chloe
Sullivan, and the rest of the Smallville gang as they go off to the
University of Metropolis. Sure we break from DC canon, but like
Smallville doesn't do that already.

Crossovers with young heroes from Marvel and other comics are
allowed, just as long as the character is modified to fit into the
Smallville world.

General Info

No one line posters. Original characters will be welcome, but
character history must be submitted to the ST for approval before you
can begin play. An audition will be required to play any canon
characters, and a writing sample will be required for original
characters as well.

All writings, histories, and stories relating to Original (non-Canon)
characters are the property of the author, and may not be used
without permission. You must be at least 18 to play in this game.

You can tell by the mood in the city that there is something
happening. Towns people are pushing past you heading toward the
castle. Standing in the town square you can see the main gates
infront of you. Two large stone dragons rise up from the ground as
pillars to the gates. To your back, in the direction the towns
people are heading, Stands Mont Du castle. Guards on Chocobo try to
maintain the crowd but the masses are decided. Where will you go?
Out the stone gates back to the safty of the dirt road? Or will you
take up the call and find out what everyone is so interested?

Welcome to the dark side of the comicsverse. Dark Marvel is primarily based
on the Marvel Comic Universe, but is not limited to it. The basic premise is
Mutants, Aliens, and Magic trying to survive in a world becoming increasingly
hostile to anyone with superpowers.

To give a better idea of how we aren't limited to strict Marvel comics, if
someone wants to bring in Spawn, we'll see how he works out, Batman, we'll
give him a try, Ash from the Evil Dead movies, ditto. Have a particular anime
or video game character you'd like to try, we'll see how they work out. So
far characters from these areas have done quite well.

We do deal with mature topics and graphic sex and violence from time to time,
so please consider us an adult game.

It has been six years since Magneto tried to mutate the world's leaders, and
much has changed. Xavier is dead. Cyclops and Jean Grey-Summers now run the
Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters with the help of Storm and the
Wolverine. They are trying to help train the next generation of mutants to
protect a world that fears and hates them.

The mantle of the X-Men has been passed to a new team. Join Rogue, Shadowcat,
Iceman, Pyro, Jubilee, and others as they fight to protect humanity from the
Brotherhood of Mutants. Mystique, Sabretooth, and the Toad are still trying
to carry out Magneto's plans for mutant domination, and both teams fight to
recuit the newest and youngest mutants on the plant.

CharmedXBuffy is the ultimate crossover game. If you like X-men, Charmed,
Angel, Buffy, Smallville, any sci-fi or fantasy, whatever you can think of.
You can bring on in whoever you want as long as you can think of a way to do
it.

The end of the world has occurred, or is it the beginning?

A single madman with a clever mind began a war, a war which never
happened, but which did happen. Missiles fired from everywhere to
attack non-existant targets, often inside their own country of
origin. The madman, whose name was never known but who will be known
for as long as is possible, was killed by his own virus which set him
as one of the non-existant targets. Armies marched and few survived.
Cities became rubbel in an instant. The war ended moments after it
began but lasted years longer as the virus, and human nature, ran its
course. In this way, the world ended.

Through the wastelands, though, one saying became a reality,
though: "Life finds a way." Years passed since the world ended.
Nature reclaimed land which had been stolen by humanity and the world
became a savage land. Survivors learned to adapt or die. Civilization
was dead and buried, but not forgotten. A couple million years ago,
the world was made up primarily of deserts, jungles, oceans, and
tundras. Now, it was yet again. The living moved beyond the dead and
resumed living. In this way, the world began.

Chaos reigns, but out of chaos can come order if justice can shine
through anarchy. The world is a harsh place, and even harsher for
those attempting to regain civilization. Chaos is always present, but
the war caused Order to weaken, thus allowing Chaos to grow and rule
unchecked.

In the Southwest of what had formerly been the United States, the
area had been reclaimed by the desert, but not entirely. Cities had
been ruined and destroyed, but not entirely. Where cities had been
left in ruins, they were beginning to be reclaimed. Cities like San
Diego, Los Angeles, Reno, Las Vegas, and others found life begin to
grow in them once more. But it is a harsh life and Chaos is strong.
Order and Justice cries out for someone, anyone, to come to its aid.
Will you answer that call?.

Wasteland-X is a unique combination of the X-men, Mad Max, and the
computer game Wasteland. It is considered rated hard R. Made up characters

They are the Children of the Atom, men and women with special gifts that set
them apart from the rest. Call them mutants, call them freaks, call them the
next stage of man. Many have pledged to save the humans who hate them,
dreaming of a world where both can live together in peace. While others are
sworn to rule or destroy them.

Now, a new law has shattered the peaceful dream. Congress has passed a law
that states that every pure human is to have a goverment issued I.D. to be
granted the basic rights to live; mutants are not fit to have one.

Proven mutants roam the streets, stealing, begging and fighting to survive.
The X-Men still fight to save those who hate them, their numbers greatly
decreased. Mutant survival gangs abound as survival for mutants becomes
harder each day and there is the Brotherhood to contend with as well, eager
to swell their ranks to take control of the hell the nation has become.

Will you join the X-men to fight for peacefull coexistance, a mutant gang for
survival, or the Brotherhood to take control.

Project X-men is a mix of X-Men Evolution and the X-Men movie in a setting
that's a mix of Days of Future Past with a dash of Operation Zero Tolerance.
While dark in tone, there are bright moments which are clung to fiercely.

This game is rated PG-13.

Age limit, if any: I would like folks to be at the VERY least 18 since I do allow adult content.


Detailed Description: This game is a cross over of a few different sci-fi type shows. Buffy, Angel, Highlander, La Femme Nikita, Charmed, and Witchblade. Imagine if you will, that the characters and premises of those shows were actually real. There are real vampires, Immortals, Witches, Operatives, and cursed bracelets.. so on and so forth. Imagine now, that all of these people, places and things exist in the same world, and have now begun to find out about each other. For instance, Immortals have Watchers, as do Slayers. What if the Watchers from both actually worked for the same Councel, just different branches of the organization. Another example... evil Vampire out for a night's hunt runs across a possible meal, only to find out that the meal doesn't stay dead after feeding, but comes back to life. Suddenly the Vampire realizes that he has an endless supply of blood... yet even another example, Nikita finds out about Immortals when one of her target bad guys just won't die. And one last example to make sure you are getting the picture.... Sarah has yet another enemy who wants the Witchblade. Why you might ask, because he is actually a demon who wants to take out the Charmed Ones, and knows that he can't do it alone...

There are a million and one different ways that characters from each of these shows could interact with eachother and come up with fantastic and interesting storylines. A New Day always brings with it a new promise of adventure.


Other infomation: To join in this game there are a few things that you will need to do. First off, you will need to check out the game website located below. There you will have at your fingertips all the information you will need for all subsequent steps. But to give you an idea of what those will be.... You should read through the website in full before deciding on if you would like to join. You will find the rules for the game, basic character guidlines, and interactive character submission form with an audition post form, characters currently in play, and other helpful hints to guide you along in this process. There is also a link to the Yahoo Groups site that this game is hosted on. Once you have decded that you do wish to play, you MUST go to the yahoo groups site and join. This is the only way that you will be able to join in the fun, as this is how you get the emails, and since this is a play by email game, that is a rather important part of play. Things that I must have before you are allowed to play are as follows. You must join on the yahoo groups site. You must send me a character bio and an audition post. Your character MUST be approved. You will know this by an email sent to you after you submit your character.

The pace of this game quite flexible to all scenarios. But we do expect a basic commitment to it, and a decent level of writing skills. You have to be of a mature mind, and creative soul to do well here. Imagination and an ability to develop a story are a must!!!

Age limit: I would prefer to have people be 18 years or older and
also act at least that age. Meaning if you are 16 but are mature you
might be let in, also if you are 40 and act like a child…well no. I
can't enforce this really but if you do continually act in a manner
befitting someone of a less mature age then you will be let go. Sorry.

Detailed Description:

We are the Watchers, a secret organization created thousands of years
ago. We know of the existence of Immortals… we watch them, record
their extraordinary lives, but we do not interfere in them. Why do we
do all of this? To learn… History is a record of change and
evolution, only by looking at it, studying it can we learn from it,
make sure we do not repeat our mistakes. Immortals are living records
of that History and from them we can learn so much…

Well now that the PR spiel is done I'll get down to business. ;) This
is a new game, hasn't even started yet. You may play an Immortal, a
Watcher, Hunter or just a plain mortal (whether they know of Immies
or are just college students curious as to why their prof looks the
same as the picture in the yearbook from five years ago is up to
you).

Now while I do have some plans for a "grand scheme/plot" I also want
you guys, the players, to be involved in plotting this game out. So
in that vein when you do join up please feel free to send in some
ideas for plots or stories along with your character bios.

The game wil be starting sometime next week (around the 8th or so) so
join up soon!


Other information: You cannot post, once the game starts, as a
character until the bio has been submitted to me and approved. You
may use a character of yours from another game if you like, but
please tweak it and add any info needed to adhere to the setup of
Watcher's Legends – it will save both you and me time if you give me
the proper information right off the bat. In that same vein please
look over the web page thoroughly, read the Rules, the History and
World sections so you can get a better feel for things.

I also would like to remind you that not everyone has to be Immortal,
nor a good guy. Please also note that the Watcher's are a secret
organization…so not all Immortals will know about them.

Once we get started I would like to see a pretty active game, posting
at least once every three days or so in an active main story line,

When the job gets too tough, too dirty or too immoral for SG-1,
that's when the team of SG-X is called in. There is no back up for
this team, no way out except success or death. A team cobbled
together for the mission that even SG-1 can't, or won't, handle, they
do what they have to do to make sure that their missions get carried
out. These people's morals are second too objectives. No exploration,
no discovery. Their job is to eliminate targets and threats. The
Earth's last line of defense against beings beyond comprehension.
Some of the deadliest people in the universe, loyal to each other,
their convictions, and to the almighty dollar…not necessarily in that
order.

Yup, it's another SG-1 RPG based game. As you can see it's more of a
clandestine kind of team than SG-1. Currently looking for 7 or so
other people to round out the team, I have a few ideas about what I'm
looking for, but I won't be super ridgid on this. Still, if you like

Age Limit: This is an adult club. No one under the age of 18.

Genre: Loosely based in the X-MEN Universe.

Description:
Earth has become divided. Not just in half, but in many sections. We have mutants/evolved vs humans, we have blacks vs whites, we have country vs country.

In recent days the focus of many peoples attention has been on the rising occurrences of evolved sightings. Many young people develop their gifts in dangerous and volatile ways. There are groups that would condemn these people as inherently evil. Such agencies have begun putting people in concentration camps state to state. Utah, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Georgia and North Carolina have passed laws against open use of abilities beyond human capabilities.

Safe havens have sprung up as well. Most of Southern California and New York as well as Nevada (specifically Las Vegas and Reno) and Florida have become hot spots for gatherings of evolved. Some groups of mutants have banded together to fight against the tyranny of the human factions. Others seek to make peace between them. One thing that everyone agrees on, is that the future holds the key. Humans have begun procreating in a desperate hope that more 'normal' humans will be born.

The government of the United States has given much leeway to the states but has developed various teams to try and keep the peace, without having to stoop to marshal law. Such groups as the Avengers and X-factor have been put together to stem some of the hatred. It is not working.

This is the world we live in, and we may die trying to live in it.

Bring your imagination and your love of writing!

Character Criteria: Right now we have two Vampires, a werewolf, a Fae, several Mutants, an Xavier, a dimensional shifter and his daughter, Kurt's son (genetic test tube baby type thing) and Kurt himself, and a few others. Feel free to bring anyone you want into this club. All we want is for you to have fun.

Title of Role Playing Game: Lord of the Rings - Middle Earth RPG

Age limit, if any: Age doesn't matter.

Detailed Description: The year is Fourth Age 1422. The new Dark Lord,
Gortheb the Horrible, has been sending orcs to raid human and elven
towns and villages. He's already launched attacks on Rohan and
Lothlórien. Assisted by the Eryae'Mori (The Dark Walkers), Mordor
is
once a again a force to be reckoned with.

That is just a part of this RPG. Many plots go on at the same time in
this RPG, but they are all linked together. There is a plot with a
new fellowship headed for Mordor to try to quickly and secretly
rescue Sam Gamgee and Queen Arwen from the clutches of Gortheb. In
Minas Tirith, where everything began, Aragorn and Eowyn await news
about the fellowship. Aragorn is preparing his armies for battle in
Gondor. In Rohan, the men and woman of Edor?s are cleaning up
after
the awful attacks by hundreds of Orcs. In Lothlórien, Haldir and
the
march-wardens have just killed over fifty orcs who tried to come
inside the borders of the Golden Wood. Celeborn is troubled and fears
there will be more evil in the time to come....

This is just a sample of what's been happening currently in the RPG.
We still need MANY more human characters and could use some elves as
well. Once you have applied for membership, an e-mail will be sent
out that is more indepth about the charcters needed. However, there
are also book characters that need filling as well. Elladan, Gimli,
Rúmil, and Orophin are all available.

Other infomation: Here is a list of things to know about this Tolkien-
based RPG group:

1. Members MUST know some Tolkien. At least have read the Lord of the
Rings Trilogy.
2. A played is expected to post at least once every 3 days.
3. If making up a character, the bio must be "Tolkien-like".
4. The pace of the game is slow at the moment because plot details
are being sorted out. Within the next two days, things will be
rolling again. The normal pace is one real week = one RP day.
5. You MUST have fun! *lol* This RPG is FULL of wonderful writers who
will expand your mind and talent. :)

Welcome to Zaia. A realm of chaos and confusion. Where magic users are
scarce and untamed wild beasts roam the forgotten trails with ease. A
place where crime seems almost legal and every night you wonder before
you go to sleep whether you willl live to see another day...

It wasn't always like this on Zaia but a couple of years ago, a power-
hungry mage unlocked the secrets of the gods. A deadly secret which
helped them succeed in encasing the gods into stone.

Without the gods help to keep the peace, the evil and corrupt seized
pwer plunging the once prosperous world into darkness. Few people were
able to think past living one day and under strange circumstances,
they met and banded together to search and retrieve the missing
stones...

No age restriction but sensetive viewers should not join for graphic
violence and such are allowed.

So very often in movies, books and comics the tiny speck of a planet
known as earth(or some other equally insignificant place) needs to be
saved, usually by a bunch of people whose answer to everything seem
to blast it to hell or beat the crap out of it.
Sure, it`s probably a huge thing as they see it, but it hardly
matters at a cosmic scale..(nothing new there).
But....
What would you do if the entire Creation was in danger of
disentegrating back into the chaos it came from?

What would you do if the boundaries between the Realities, that have
always supported the Creating, have began to fall appart?
Now magic is infecting realities where no such thing have ever
existed, allowing creatures; both harmless and horrifying to move
between realities, to places where no defence against them exists.
While from yet other realities, wast fleets sent from technologically
superior civilizations swoops down on those who have no defence
against their weapons; to conquer, or simply to clear the land for
settlement..
Well, to make it short; no place can be considered safe.

One important question, however, is wether or not those who created
everything in the begining will be capable of mending the damage and
stop it from continuing. But despite their power, it is uncertain if
the creators can stop something that even the gods are helpless
against. At least it`s certain that they won`t be able to do much
about the situation in the many Realities as they work to mend the
damage done to the Realities and prevent everything from being
destroyed.

Therefore, individuals from all Realities have been called to do what
they can to give help to those who need it, and to bring those who
seek to take advantage of the situation back to where they came from.
Working alone or in groups, those who have been called do what they
can to keep the people of all Realities safe from what is happening.
And it`s certainly not a easy task they have been given, for the
ability to use magic aren`t of much use in a Reality where magic
aren`t possible and even the most advanced weapons won`t be helpfull
in a Reality where all technology will fall appart within hours..

Hi all ... so here's the info:

I'm looking for a Fantasy and/or D&D3e pbem campaign to join.
What I'd like to see is a dark and gritty setting, with low magic and
mostly important GM driven and dedicated players. I like to post at
least daily if not more.

I'm a mature, creative and professional 32 year old.
I've being involved in online gaming and writing for years, I've
played heroes and villians, free form and driven as well as I've DMed.
In real life I play D&D 3e and am a Deadlands and CP2020 DM.

So if there are any players or DMs out there looking for another body
