Locked upper recurve "Touring" windscreen for R90S?

Has anyone tried or implemented a Touring windscreen from MRA or Clearview on their bike?? Was it an improvement in airflow? Any loss of aerodynamic stability in handling?

I am 6-2 and have used the taller and no major difference in helmet wind buffeting.?

Did you feel there was any advantage to recurve?

It was my understanding that the reason the 90s bikini fairing became so copied and popular was because BMW used their wind tunnels to get it neutral on your wrists when travelling at touring speeds. You neither had to ¡°hold on¡± nor ¡°take any weight¡± on your wrists. Folk back then used to debate if it needed to be used in conjunction with the Roamer helmet designed and painted up to match the 90s colour schemes for you to get optimal benefit. Must say it works for me on my 90s and I would never change the screen.?

My R90S had a Krauser windscreen on it when I bought it in 1987.
It was taller with a recurve. I loved it!?
I'm sure it reduced buffeting and wind noise as it directed the air stream at my forehead rather than at my chest and under my helmet.?
It was a sad day when it broke and I could only find a standard shield to replace it.?
