Locked Thank You James [R90SWORLDNET] The new site IS UP!!!

See below, thank you James.?

It is SO great to be able to preserve all the R90S information from dome 30 years of the R90SWorldnet and transfer it to the Forums at the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners, under The Incomparable R90S, is just wonderful.?

What a true icon the R90S is, thank you HannsA Muth and all R90S afficianodos everywhere.?

James Wonder¡¯s IT expertise you see in action to preserve our R90sWorldnet, along with the other volunteers that help the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners club is how the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners operates so well.?

We have HUGE searchable content which retains contributions people make, pictures and all, unlike Facebook and other venues. Plus repair manuals, Snowbum¡¯s and other web sites, etc. ?

If you¡¯d like to help out or if you have any suggestions to make it better please let me or James know.?

Thank you and?

Best,

Mac Kirkpatrick

After several long days of coding, hacking, and slowly figuring out what was what, I have gotten the R90S Worldnet up and archived under the forum software we use!? I honestly thought it was going to take a few more days, but today was going my way!? :-)

Please take a look at the website at:

There are 51,977 messages in .
I was able to move 51,971 messages over.? 6 were simply bad.

Some of the threading is not perfect, i.e.? you may see duplicate subject titles. I am still trying to make that better as the main problem stems from the way email handles replies and some of them are simply not correct in the file from .? Still working on that.

If you are so inclined, the actual program I wrote is attached as well so you can check it out.? I will likely keep tuning the conversion, but once I get a consensus that things are okay I will move it to the live server.

ANY comments or thoughts are welcome!!!

Best,

James
