I purchased replacement OEM mufflers from Bob's BMW for my restoration of my
R90S. They had the best price I could find and they were original equipment,
new in the box from BMW. I thought they were a real buy. Check'em out.

hi

a couple members of the club said that they purchased mufflers from
JCWhitney. they looked and sounded good and the price was $80.00 per side. nr
for the left side: 01ld7330t and for the right side: 01ld7329n and page nr
in the book is 34 in the spring catalog 90D-03. never have purchased from
there myself so passing on the information i got from others. Ken

Duwayne,
In Europe, a set of Chrome ones goes for the equivilent of about 300 USD tax incl. Stainless steel will set you back about double that. 38-mm is correct.

Has anybody used the JC Whitney stuff? Mufflers, etc.?? Thanks

The BMw mufflers have EPA stuff stamped in the front of the muffler just
below the footpeg, as well as the stamping in the very rear of the muffler.
Unlike the original mufflers which had nothing stamped in them.

Best,

G'day Ron,
I wish you guys were leaving in Australia. I replaced mine with a local ones
called appropriately Ecco pipes. They're straight through. A R90s going
through a cutting, the pipes merrily barking - magic, simply magic.
