Locked R90S seat pan
Hi all, I was intending to replace the seat foam and cover on my seat and had a rude surprise with the condition of the seat pan. The repair would probably cost enough that I should consider a whole new seat. So I'm reaching out to the group in the hope that someone may have a seat pan in decent shape for sale.
Thanks? Sri Nair Toronto, Canada |
开云体育By coincidence a fellow in Albuquerque just wrote that he has a seat pan, free to a good home except for shipping cost. But it’s from an R69S and not in great shape. I have no idea if it would fit. More details and his contact info if you have any interest, email me at douglas.t.raymond@... Doug ? 开云体育FYI- A R69S is a /2 of the 1960s and will not fit a R90S of the 1970s ? Bob Alexander ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Doug Raymond

I believe you can buy a poly-somethingorother seat pan which will never rust out. Contact Sargent in Florida and see what they tell you about your dilemma.? I've had them re-foam and cover my seats twice with great results. Good luck. James Wiseman ProServUS Investigation PO Box 802 Burlington, IA 52601 319-750-4199 The truth will set you free. I'm going to go with the option that will allow me to ride soon. My mechanic is also a welder and he's going to make the existing seat pan work maybe for another 5 years! Thank you all for your input. Much appreciated. Sri |
