Re: Tire sizes availability
For those (few?) that might not know, these are the original tires tires and sizes (BMW installed these, and at certain times/models, Metzelers). These Conti's have been improved some, and make nice

Re: Tire sizes availability
Stay away from the metrics. I've run the Avon Roadriders and Michelin Pilot Activs (which I think have been replaced by the Road Classics. Like Frank, many people like the Metzlers as well.

Anyone Own the NEW Edition of the Book "BMW R90S" by Ian Falloon?
Does anyone own the new latest edition of the book "BMW R90S" by Ian Falloon, the front cover pic is of a DO R90S. I need to verify the picture on page 68 is of my '74 R90S, it would say so. Thanks,

Re: washing / waxing the R90s?
I've always used Plexus on paint and windshield...spray on, wait a minute, and buff off with a microfiber cloth. Works well on helmets too.

After washing and drying, buff out swirls and scratches with Turtle Wax Color Back. Then wax with Mother's pure carnauba wax. You will love it!

washing / waxing the R90s?
I'm fortunate to have nice paint on my '75 DO and I want to keep it that way. Can anyone point me to an article / email / post previously written about maintaining the paint? Thank you!

Re: Clutch adjustment with EZ pull/WHY?
Seems to happen in all gears, disengages under acceleration (quickly using throttle), but not so much when slowly increasing speed. Thanks Mac!

Re: Clutch adjustment with EZ pull/WHY?
Might have oil from the trans getting on the clutch disc. Does this happen most easily in 5th gear while accelerating? Long story but I recently learned (again :-) why this happens in 5th (high) gear

Clutch adjustment with EZ pull
Hey All, I could use some advice on clutch adjustment on my 75 R90s. I installed an EZ puller last year and it seemed to work fine, but lately under acceleration the power disengages from the rear
