My R90S had a Krauser windscreen on it when I bought it in 1987. It was taller with a recurve. I loved it! I'm sure it reduced buffeting and wind noise as it directed the air stream at my forehead

It was my understanding that the reason the 90s bikini fairing became so copied and popular was because BMW used their wind tunnels to get it neutral on your wrists when travelling at touring speeds.

Did you feel there was any advantage to recurve?
