R90/6 Starting problem
I have a 74 R90/6 in addition to my 75 R90S. The start button is only occasionally engaging the starter, and it is becoming worse. All battery and ground connections are clean, and battery is charged.

Sounds like the needle gets stuck at 10 volts due to wear or dirt in mechanism. Hook it to a 12 volt battery with alligator jumper wires and bang it against your open palm a few times, see if it frees
