New user question about the "colored lines" on Event Prediction screen
steven ho
I am gonna try to capture the "Zelinda" occultation tonight (2023-04-27 00:39:54). My location on the attached screenshot is the yellow circle to the left of the "N" in New York.
Can someone point me to documentation that explains these lines. Even a quick description?of my chances for this event?would be very helpful. I will be trying the Dynamene event the following day also. thanks Steve H |
Hi Steven, Are you running Windows and are you using the OccultWatcher Desktop client? The red line is the 1-sigma zone, blue is the edge. Your position is more than 3 sigma away and the chances are not great for that location. If you get the events inside OW Desktop, it will show you probablities and a lot more information. Hristo.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIn theory your chances are small, but there may be a path shift in your direction. (You never can tell) So your observation would be provide a constraint.? Negative observations are important.? There is an observer on the orange line i see. Best of luck, Tim On 26/04/2023 19:12, steven ho wrote:
