I have my Default filter set to 50 miles outside shadow path. None of the other named filters have any selections. I am seeing events list well over my 50 mile limit, some are 100's of miles away. Is this a bug or a feature? LOL
Default on affects those feeds that do not have some other type of manual filter set.? Check each feed [click on the down arrow next to ¡®Default¡¯ and see what settings are for each feed present.

I would report this to Hristo on the OccultWatcher group.? It may be that Personal feeds are being included with the default filters of the person generating the feed?
If there are events involving asteroids with known or suspected moons, then there is a feature that would include all events where a satellite could fall within your selected range. Is this the case for you?
If not then please run DebugView with 'EventFilters' set to 4 as described here:
then send me the log files and I should be able to tell you why you may be seeing more events.
