Weak Radio Reception

Dennis, KN6IPE All Messages By This Member #183 Hi Everyone, During tonight's Net, I noticed that radio reception for at least 3 radio operators were less than adequate.? I suggest a few things to consider: 1.? Stepping outside for better radio performance. 2.? Make sure your WT is set to medium power.? 3.? Hold your WT upright. 4.? If you cannot step outside, go to a room with many windows like the formal living room. I have been experiencing radio propagation issues all day and I have not been able to reach as far as I usually do.? Whatever is causing that may also be affecting our WTs.? I will look into it.? Did you have any issues hearing me?? If so, I suggest bumping up your? WT's Transmit Power setting to the next level up .?
