FD is finally here!
It’s a smaller affair this year—either 2A or 3A (we’ll decide Saturday), with so far only three ops (AE4TQ and KE4UW on digital, WB4SQ on phone).? I may try a bit of CW, only to gain bragging rights for being the top scoring CW op for the second time in N4N history (that is, when no other CW ops show up ? ).? We should put together a respectable score, while enjoying good food and beverages and, if you can believe the weather-guessers, reasonably good weather for Saturday and Sunday.? Friday might be a bit rainy for setup, but the out-in-the-rain setup is pretty minimal.
So if you have a free day Saturday or Sunday, feel free to stop by.? If you plan to come around meal time, let me know by Thursday.? That’s when I make the run to the grocery store to get enough food for those who said they would be there.?
Looks like Sunday might the first really hot, humid, sunny Georgia summer day of the year—85 degrees or so.? Good time for a dunk in the pool.?? That’s when we’ll be most grateful that teardown is nothing more than loading into your car whatever you brought with you.?
Hope to catch some of you on the air over the weekend!

Maybe we should have a stretch goal this year and try SO2R each!
Looking forward to it, will bring my IC-9700 into the light of day with SatPC32 and my Easycomm az/el controller.
Heather will bake us a fresh creme Victorian Sponge Cake for us to consume at dinner.
73 Eddie, AE4TQ?

Eddie,? I’ve done the two radio thing with the home station running FT8. It does keep one hopping. That may be a way to keep two stations on FT8 while I’m cooking. ?
GOTA FT8 would work too.?
