Hate to ask again, and sorry about the short notice, but any chance a few folks could help me take down the steppir Wednesday evening around 6pm?

Yes, it has crapped the bed again.? It has been unreliable enough that I am moving in another direction.? Good news is that DX Engineering promptly delivered a new Optibeam, and I am almost finished assembling it.? All done but mounting the element tips with pre-drilled holes so no measuring for element lengths.? With three sunny, no-rain days in the forecast, I will have it done in plenty of time.

The plan Wednesday is just to take the steppir down.? Between Wednesday and Saturday I¡¯ll get the rocket launcher top piece/rotor/mast/yagi assembly ready to go, and as luck would have it, I should have critical mass Saturday to raise it, as we are having a family gathering to celebrate daughter Lauren¡¯s impending April 1 wedding.? So just a take-down evolution Wednesday.? Should take less than an hour.

I¡¯ll have a couple of my boys, but I need a few more to get this done.?

So please let me know if you can lend a hand Wednesday, around 6pm.?

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately I have commitments for Wednesday afternoon and evening. Thursday and Friday evenings open, as is Saturday.?

Disappointing that you have to rethink the Steppir. You have given it a heck of an effort.?
