Gents,
Can any of you help me to put the steppir back up next weekend?? I need four folks minimum, preferably five. Should take an hour or so.? Maybe we could get lunch before or after.?

I’d like to shoot for Saturday, but Sunday would also work for me.? Long range forecast looks good (sunny, but a bit chilly) both days.

Eddie and gang, that will be a great QSL card!

Thanks for all the offers.? Looks like some might be available this weekend, so if I can get 2 or 3 folks this Sunday (say 1pm, after it warms up a bit) we can take the steppir down.? If I can figure out what’s wrong with it and get it fixed, maybe I can get it back up the week after xmas. ? So can a couple folks make it Sunday?? (I’ll have two of my boys to help as well). ? Maybe we can go grab lunch at biscuits and more afterwards?? I’ll buy.? ? Dave UW ? ? Gents, Anybody available the week between xmas and new year to help me take down my steppir?? It has a short somewhere in the cable/reflector control unit that I need to get it down to sort out.? Same drill as taking the antennas down after Field Day—pull one section at a time from the rocket launcher mast until it drops from 35 ft to 10 ft, then pop off the top piece with antenna and rotor attached.? Should take an hour or less.? But I need a critical mass of 5 folks. I’ll pick a day when it’s within the window of the 10 day forecast and hopefully choose a day we can count on good WX.? Dave UW
