Gents, Tim WK4U and I are helping Linda by selling the equipment from Al’s ham shack.? ? Below should be a list of equipment available.? I’m sending this first to the N4N group for a couple of reasons.? Mostly so I can see what the table of equipment looks like when I paste a word document table into a groups.io email message—might as well embarrass myself in front of a smaller group until I iron out any format glitches.? Second, it seems appropriate to let folks who knew Al have an early heads up.? All proceeds go to Linda. ? I also have some other things that I will bring to the Lawrenceville hamfest: - Dozens of fishing tackle trays (about 8.5x14 inches) of various electronics parts.? Capacitors of various types, terminal strips, toroids, switches, connectors, adapters, hardware, etc.? Advice from those who know about such things is to take them to the hamfest and sell them for $5 a tray (about the cost of the plastic tray).?
- Five or six boxes of books, some ARRL publications, some reference books, many antenna books.? Advice for these was to sell them at the hamfest for 1/3 the list price.?
? If folks are interested in having a first crack at the parts bins or books, maybe we can get together for a lunch and then stop by and see if there is anything in the pile you might want.?
