I want to run something by you all for Field Day. I'm recently VP of the Paulding Amateur Radio Club, and after spending Field Day with you last year, I've been talking about how incredibly well organized N4N is and what a great Field Day it was.
I'd like to get some of our PARC folks together with you at N4N. We have some strong CW operators, and I've been suggesting that we consider combining forces (in some way) with N4N next year. Either as a combined effort in one location as N4N or by encouraging operators to visit both locations. The sites are only a few miles apart.
We can help bring in points in the weaker areas, such as officials, visitors, CW operators, and we have some fun toys to contribute. In turn PARC can learn a lot about organization and planning. I also think everyone will get along great.
How ever it works out, it's something to consider. Why don't we get everyone together for lunch one Saturday? Let me know what you think.
