I have been enjoying using HRI.
Have you considered adding VARA Soundcard TNC P2P capability to HRI?

I do not know anything about Vara.

Looking at the author's website



It appears that Vara is used by RMS Express.
RMS Express is a very good free software product for winlink and P2P which supports many radios including the ICOM marine radios.

What advantage you will have if Vara is added to HRI?
