You are right, I am not sending PTT CAT commands to Icom Marine Radios.

Rene,

There are two ways to do PTT.
One is via a COM Port's RTS/DTR pins, the other is via a command sent out on a COM port to the radio? called CAT PTT.

In HRI settings, DigitalModes Tab, You should uncheck "Enable RTS/DTR PTT" to use the CAT PTT.

I tested the 12 Oct 2017 VS version, and the Icom goes into remote mode. Bandswitching, Mode switching, Transmitting
Everything works as expected, thats good!

But when I choose Digital mode, Start mode, Full test, TX send, the Icom does not switch into TX
When i push the TX button, in Digital mode, I can see the message:

DigitalModeAudio: WriteRadioAudio: Raising PTT

But nothing happens. I added the logfile to this message

With ICOM marine radios, TX/RX needs to be done via CAT commands to the radio via the COM port.? Did you click the Start button to get radio control working?

I tested the MT63 Option, but it seems like my Icom IC-M710 does not go into transmit (TX) mode,
Its possible to send you an error log, but I can see in the log that the PTT is switching
