good day howerd? flow control is definitely not needed on the M710. it runs on the xon/xoff protocol. Be careful using the full rts/cts control cable on the M710. It messes with pins where audio is

You have an error opening the virtual COM port for the RadioEmulator feature. I suggest turning off RadioEmulator. Under Settings, RadioEmulator, UNcheck "Enable Radio Emulator". You do not need this

OK 1. HRI should come with a zipcode.CSV file. This file appears to be missing or a damaged file. This error is not very important. 2. Every message coming in from the radio must begin with "$PICOA".
