John,
Read the Kessler Engineering manual for the AT AUTO.
In Chapter 9 it talks about the RTS line doing a reset - and that
doing this constantly can damage the tuner.
It talks about a jumper inside the AT AUTO to disable the RTS
reset line.
So, there should be no need to "cut" the RTS line - just move the
appropriate jumper.
Read the manual and you should find details.
All version should be in the FILES section at the groups.io
website.
As I said, there should be no problem using the Java version of
HRI on Windows 10.
I just thought people preferred the Visual Studios version of HRI.
Good Luck,
Howard

Howard -
In the past, the Visual Studio version was giving me a
problem installing.? I didn't try on this particular Windows
10 computer.? Where can I find the install file?
We will try stopping the RTS or cutting the line and get
back to you.
Thanks for the great support!

John,
Very impressive.
I seem to recall that RTS causes the AT AUTO to do a reset.
I'd need to look it up in the manual. If my memory is
correct, then you'd need a modified serial cable with the
RTS wire cut, or some way to make the Ethernet adapter stop
using RTS. Check the manual.
I don't know why you are using the java version with windows
10. Nothing wrong with that. I just thought the visual
studios version looks better and performs a little faster.
Good luck,
Howard
