New member introduction

Hi Gang. I was asked to introduce myself so here I am. I'm George Louvis.
I own Regional Broadcasting Services in Montclair, which owns "VillageRadio
Montclair" (you can listen on 1620 and 1640 am as well as channnel 34 and the
internet at www.villageradio.com) and the monthly newspaper "Montclair this
Month".

My grandfather opened "Louvis'" in Upper Montclair (now the Montclair
Charcoal Broil Restaurant) in 1923, my Dad owned it until he retired in 1987
so I may have cooked meals for some of you. :-)

thanks to Kevin Allen and Jessica de Koninck for inviting me.

George

Dear George,

Welcome...................how goes the fight to get your station a wider
broadcasting range?

Hi, Linda! So glad you have joined Watercooler. We miss you (even though we
can always see you at town hall, right???)

Thanks for the reminder. I actually did vote today ... well sort of. I got
into the voting booth, all ready to vote for Corzine, and found that all the
keys were locked! The helpers said, "Of course they're locked. You're not a
registered Democrat!"

Well, my party didn't have anyone I was very interested in ... so I didn't
vote for anyone. Then I found that I couldn't pull the curtain back! Stuck in
the voting booth ...! I couldn't believe it....I finally had to throw my vote
to someone I REALLY didn't care about just to get out of there. Oh, well.
I'll do better in November, I guess.

I'm stopping in at Montclair Books tonight, looking for a copy of "Voting for
Dummies."

Mary

Linda:

Hi - Where did you move to? You didn't leave town hall did you?

No...just around the corner in Little Falls at the
Mill...it is lovely but still doesn't feel like home.
