Although fairly sparse ... I got a lot of our our? 'meeting'.? Eric turned me onto...? Claude.ia? ... which he said seemed to do a better job when coding. I had been using chatGPT.? My goal was to be able to extract PDF Fillin value pairs using PHP and get them into a spreadsheet. When I asked my question, using ChatGPT, it threw out some sample code but the results were unsatisfactory, simply because it didn't work. I am? pretty familiar with PHP and was able to follow and understand what the code was doing but couldn't see what was wrong. Asking the same question using Claude.ai, presented a completely different approach. I haven't been though it as yet but I can tell you it was hard to sleep last night ... as my goal was in site.

Here's were we ended up to finish up our 'meeting' in Sauk City.

Even when it's just two people I always enjoy our meetings, but we should get a headcount by noon on gameday so we know what to expect. I'd hate to see us fade away.

Hot Dog Avenue was fun and they have everything I needed: beer and hot dogs.

sorry guys, I am so 'under the weather' even sitting at the computer is hard.?

I just moved my dev stuff to Angular 19 and wanted to talk a bit about some of what I consider major changes - signals, injection, stand-alone components, template enhancements, maybe more. Even did a simple app to illustrate some of this. The changes involve modifying older app code, but Angular has a migration tool that does almost everything to your code so 'not so bad'. I think the changes actually rock. Maybe we can look next month.

So now that have real internet with spectrum I've had a weirdity - could not webmin to my own vps - this is on port 10000. No problem with my servers in Madison but that is through a vpn tunnel. Chatted with spectrum and all I got was that their router was 'limited' try a different router. So I needed to move my Angular demo up to the server and ended up in the terminal through ssh, scp moved the files just fine and THEN, all of a sudden webmin worked - go figure.? It was about the same amount of work moving files in the terminal as in webmin so either way I'm covered, just strange.
