Happy with Mach3 plasma setup?
I have a machine that was working fine. Doing x axis test 0 to 200 and back no problems. Y axis however gain or lost 0.1 to 0.3mm randomly. Problem was dirty linear bearing and some evidence of the problem was? visible by a score line on the guide rod. Loosen the guide rod rotated it and repeated the test. Score mark appeared again. Hope this helps

I now see my mistakes running Mach 3 and not Mach 4. I have already bought electronics comparable with Mach 3. I was trying to keep it simple and now I have created some problems. The BOB I bought uses a parallel port (C11G) so it wont work with Mach 4 as I believe. I havent worked with Mach 3 in 15 years so real rusty there too. Michael Guyer |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýMike: ? There is a printer port driver for Mach4(available as an add-on license from Art Fenerty), but it has some limitations as to what OS it can run with. ? Your C11G is designed to work with a printer port, but many motion devices(the Ethernet Smoothstepper, for instance) essentially have printer ports on them. Your C11G will work with an ESS. ?
