:-) If that¡¯s for me Jude, it went fine, thanks. There was one tiny (2mm) polyp, easily removed, and the rest of my gut looked remarkably healthy. The staff, all girls, were fantastic. I had three

The latest one is dead cocky ¡ª but then they have to have a bit of ego and self confidence or you wouldn¡¯t want them operating on you now would you. He did a good job and I¡¯m here to talk about

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
As long as you have a good director, the camera work should be fine! I¡¯ve read some horror stories about endometriosis, especially when male medics just don¡¯t believe their female patients or

Hahaha! Oh Jude, you do have them nailed down, don¡¯t you? :D Best Susan

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
I¡¯m glad that I¡¯m not a girl. My wife had endometriosis which took years to diagnose. And I¡¯m glad that I¡¯m not planned to stay in hospital on Friday ¨C unless they make a hash of the camera

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
After I had op for endometrial cancer surgeon turned up at the bottom of the bed and asked if I remembered what he told me immediately after op and I parroted it back to him word for word, and he said

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
Thanks, Susan. I¡¯ll make sure! It will either be part-sedation or Entonox, and I¡¯m thinking that I¡¯d prefer the latter. Chris

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
I can only try to imagine birth pains, Susan. I almost wish that they would find something with the colonoscopy because the next step would be an endoscopy down my throat. I¡¯ve had that twice and

My friend who had one didn¡¯t get the sedation she was expecting, so you make sure you get yours, Chris! Best Susan

Yes, I wondered how encouraging that would feel! :D Anyway, I¡¯m sure you¡¯ll keep us informed, Chris, from between gritted teeth. I have poor pain resistance myself and still remember with a

I¡¯m not good at agony; I tend to scream rather a lot¡ I¡¯ve just written to John, by the way. Best Susan

Oh good point, normally you can¡¯t move for emails from him; I was getting personal ones too but nothing recently. I¡¯ll try sending one to him, for a change! Best Susan

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
Last time my husband went through it - day procedure - I went to pick him up. He¡¯s usually not a good passenger. But he was a bit under the influence and I got him strapped in and set off for home.

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
Was that some sort of encouragement, Jude? :-) Yes, I know that the stuff tastes rubbish, but I need to know what¡¯s going on. And with the NHS under such pressure I feel very lucky to have the

Re: Hi everyone -- still alive?
The ¡°palaver¡± as you put it is awful. Got to drink gallons of horrid glug to clean you out. Husband has done it on more than one occasion. They found a polyp once - I guess the agony is worth it.

Thanks, Susan, for both thoughts. I reckon that the implantologist is a pretty trustworthy chap; he¡¯ll lose custom if he gets adverse reviews. My colonoscopy is next week and there¡¯s a bit of a
