The wrong sort of rice? ?I remember reading about white rice while I was at school – how polished rice had lost most of its nutritious parts.

It might be rare in terms of Dennis Nielsens & Aileen Wournos, but think of “Sir” Fred Goodwin (& many in the city like him). Sacked loads of tellers, sold subprime mortgages, got a company jet. Left the average man/woman in the street to pick up the pieces, walked away with a 6 figure pension.

Visited 99 y o friend who has new iPad Pro rang me to boast so I had to go look didn't I :-) - fab bit of gear. Very quick. Photos look lovely. Sound is great. ?I talked him into Procreate. Saw he was struggling with the basics not having had an iPad before bit like me so I went back to see him and have loaned him the book my husband bought for me when I was in hospital as he knows I don't do womens mags :-) ?My husband thought the old guy would knock me back but no he beamed, clutched it to his chest and asked how long he could borrow it for. ?I've picked up an iPad lap pillow in my travels yesterday which has a pocket on the side to fit an iPhone and I'm dropping that off this afternoon.

It will be interesting how he gets on with it, but he's absolutely thrilled with it and gave his MacBook Pro to his daughter who kindly picked it up for him across town. ?He has an iMac Pro like mine so I have talked to him about Sidecar -- new iPad to iMac Pro.

Never too old to learn apparently ?:-) ?Oh I should be that good at his age.?
