Hi

One of the worst stories I heard about armed combat was an SAS patrol. He was an avid bird watcher. He saw some Carrion vultures cruise down on a part of Yugoslavia. He thought:
"Why would they be there?"
Then he saw 2 men nailed to a wall in a cruciform position.
I know massacres have been going on for some time, but in the 1st World war things took a turn for the worse with chemical weapons. Before then men had to fight with chilvary.
Now there is no chivalry left in the world!
John

Hi

I'm not wanting to say anything disrespectful to anyone here, But there was a blackman on a free public transport bus who dropped his walking stick.
"I said let me get that for you"
He said:
"Uh Uhm, thank you sir"
I didn't have the wherewithal to say,
"Your Welcome, or it's an honour Sir"
When I went in to my local bank, in South Carolina, a grey-haired old lady wouldn't go to the black teller.
I was truly simple about it. I didn't realise until I got 100 yards down the road that it was a racist incident.
Well afterwards, I thought well, it gets me served quicker, gets me home quicker, more computer games to play & beer to drink quicker! I win! The racists lose

YES, President Barack Obama was the 1st black president, which is good & he was a good president, but he grew up very much in a life of privilege for the main part.
People saw him as a Harvard Professor, until he cared for the common man in his presidency during weather storms.
I'd like to see people from a less privileged background in power more often.
Even Tony Blair went to Oxbridge, but money is all that matters, isn't it?

That looks like propaganda to me, John. ?There was no air threat from Al Quaeda. ?The USAF will have been keen to show off its new and extremely expensive B2s to justify their purchase. ?In addition, I would not trust the US intelligence system to pick targets that were free of civilian involvement; this based on what I saw when working with US forces in Op Northern Watch, but also how targets were picked for the Kosovo campaign.

Finally, Dubya Bush will have been anxious to be seen to be doing something in response to the Twin Towers attacks, not necessarily getting the right targets hit in terms of waging a campaign against Al Quaeda.

I have little faith in their systems, as you can see.
