Re: Hi

I have been humming and aaahing over Big Sur unable to make my mind up. Everything I used stop working when I was forced to go forward to Catalina from Mojave by Apple. I was having constant kernel panics and evil messages to do with the T2 chip. If I put the iMac Pro back to where it was I stand every chance the T2 chip would play up again I guess. Tech not suggesting I go back though I am sorely tempted. ?But it would mean cloning and wiping the drive and putting an earlier system on the machine.?
My other thought was well we're stuck with where Apple is going and all our hardware is going to slowly slide into the remaindered list now they have the new chip out there as well so I might as well go forward. But that still leaves me with software no longer working that I would like to be working. ?I do have the old Mac standing by which is saving me on the odd occasion. I am tempted to put a SSD in it and put it back to SL and keep it on standby.?
