Here they do open houses a lot. Some places you have to arrange to view with the agent. If you want to buy and the price is set agent will give you a contract and you sign. You have a five day cooling

You all daft about far to much in England in settling a house. Dare I say you need to adopt the Scottish system which is more straight forward it would seem .... or better still the Australian system.
