¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi JudeYes, we have been a bit quiet, but I was thinking about you and your iPad Pro yesterday, wondering how things were going. I hope that your relative is OK. ?COVID remains a problem . . . The iPad is a conundrum: it¡¯s really powerful and fast, but there are things that you can¡¯t do with it. ?Do you have the magic keyboard? ?I tend to take both iPad (Air 3rd gen) and MacBook (2017 12¡± Retina) because the latter has the filing system that works with my photo programme (Capture One Pro) and my photo filing. ?It¡¯s not as fast as my iPad or my iMac (2019) but it does the job while on holiday. ?And we¡¯re heading off to Devon, near Totnes, on Thursday for six nights. ?We¡¯ll have electric power but nothing else at the site. When my training contract pays up I¡¯ll get myself the latest iPad Air, and perhaps buy my wife a new iMac (if she¡¯ll let me) to replace the 2011 20¡±. It was our 41st wedding anniversary yesterday and we have a ¡°date night¡± to night at the local pub; it¡¯s owned by Mark Hix, a pretty well-known chef for seafood. ?I¡¯m not keen on seafood but there will be red meat as well. Cheers Chris
