using Zoom in Word with the keyboard

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Chat GPT tells me that control and the plus key will allow someone to zoom in in a Word document and control minus will zoom out.

Is this true; I can¡¯t verify myself with Jaws but this is for a blind customer who needs to zoom in and out as needed in Word to have someone check his document.

Thanks.

Microsoft Word follows the same keyboard shortcut conventions for Zooming that most web browsers do:
Ctrl + Plus Sign? - Increase size (zoom in)
Ctrl? + Minus Sign? - Decrease size (zoom out)
Ctrl + zero? - Zoom to 100% (actual size)

windows key plus + wil enlarge text; and windows key + - (the hyphen) will make it smaller. Anywhere.

Thank you Ann; very much appreciated.
