How to Index waveforms with Step parameter values?

I've been stepping via Temperature (for example), getting say 20 traces in a single plot pane.
How can I add the actual "step values" to the particular traces depicted?
Thanks.

Hello,

First you have to find the the value of the parameter used for a specific trace.
Left mouse click on the plot label in the waveform window, e.g. V(VF). Now a cursor (cross hair) is attached to this V(VF). Move the cross hair cursor to the trace you want? with the up/down arrow-keys of your keyboard.?
Now when you move the mouse cursor over this cross hair cursor, you will see a 1 (first cursor) or 2 (secoond cursor). Then right mouse click and LTspice will report the parameter used for this trace.
"Cursor 1: Temp=10? Run 2/6".??
Finally you can add this information, e.g. 10¡ã, to the trace in the waveform plot as a comment.
Plot Settings -> Notes & Annotations -> Aa Place Text
It might be a good idea to change the text color to the color of the trace.

Finally save the plot setting.
Plot Settings -> Save Plot Settings

If you need an example, then let me know.

Best regards,
Helmut

Hi Helmut, thanks for the hint!
It also means there is not a directive/function to flag the traces with the temperature label (or a value of other stepping parameter) automatically, such you may see immediately which trace belongs to which step.
Would be a nice to have!
Sure, for final documentation purposes the manual approach is ok, but during repeating experiments it would be rather laborious exercise :)
Thanks!

Hello,

The color of the traces is according to the order specified in the color setting of the waveform window Thus the green trace is from the first step, if you haven't modified the color preferences of the traces. If you know the order of colors, ... :-)
Control Panel -> Waveforms -> Color Scheme

Best regards,
Helmut

With cursor(s) on you can select a trace related to a stepping value (up/down keyb buttons).

The easiest hack would be to add an "actual stepping value field" into the "Cursors window", ie. beneath the "Diff(Cursor2-Cursor1)", to show the stepping value parameter.
