In Stretch mode, a selected component, or a block of components, can be moved while all its connections are kept. This is sometimes called 'rubber-banding'. Try selecting a component and moving it about.

I installed LTspice64 ver 24.0.12 for Windows. Compared to the old LTspiceIV in the on top menu I can see "Duplicate mode, "Move mode" and "Stretch mode".

How is the last mode (i.e. stretch mode) supposed to work/ be employed ?
