Re: unexpected result using diode modeling program for LM4041 approximation
Maturin, The .73 ohms came from the data sheet. It says a change in the current of 11 mA will cause a maximun voltage change of 8 mV. BTW, you could also create an even simplier model by leaving out

Re: Arbitrary WaveForm Generator
I needed a simulaion with "real world waveform". So i started the electronic and recorded the voltage with a storage scope. 1.6 seconds about 70.000 datapoints. Exported in EXCEL CVS format and used

Re: I can not access the File of LTspice.
Hello to all, I just got a private email from another user of the LTspice group regarding accessing Files. It's very interesting and thus I like to share it. -- Hello Helmut, in the case of Shiggi, it

Re: unexpected result using diode modeling program for LM4041 approximation
<snip> </snip> Hello Maturin, I don't wish to curtail your joy at the light bulb moment, but the device you're trying to emulate is a band gap reference. Band-pass refers to something completely

Re: unexpected result using diode modeling program for LM4041 approximation
OK, I see now. Excellent. Didn't know you could do that; a diode with no forward voltage drop. I also wouldn't have had a clue to give it an on resistance of 0.73 ohms, how did you arrive at that? But

Re: unexpected result using diode modeling program for LM4041 approximation
Yup, thanks. I do need it to have rectifying characteristic though, since I was planning to blank the input to blank the load (larger, actual circuit, of course). I'll look at it, thanks very much.

unexpected result using diode modeling program for LM4041 approximation
Please see .asc in MATURIN TEMP folder; I deleted all the other files (except rainbowsally's...I can't delete it...???) I made up some parameters for the forward voltage drop in a theoretical diode,

Re: electrical contact model with bounce
I would suggest a PWL file driving a voltage source and controlling the switch resistance as the PWL could model the particular switch bounce/contact resistance characteristics that will vary

Re: test circuit for TLV341 voltage reference need help
Thanks, Rick. I had considered that, but I was thinking about trying to use the curve from the LM4041 datasheet...which is for an optimized band-pass device, not close to an "ideal" diode...so i

Ah, phooey, I've gotten it all mixed up. Nope, it's not the TL341 OR the TLV431...what I am really trying to find is a model for the LM4041 or ANY shunt 1.225 volt reference (not adjustable, although
