Re: Zener diode stabilizer
There is hardly any current in your 7.5 V Zener because there is only about 5 V DC across it. Is that what you intend? Disconnecting the Zener makes almost no difference to the voltage at node 2. --

Re: Stretch mode LTspice64
In Stretch mode, a selected component, or a block of components, can be moved while all its connections are kept. This is sometimes called 'rubber-banding'. Try selecting a component and moving it

Re: LTSpice AC simulation
Yes, that's what I meant; I put 'output number',? instead of 'output/input ratio'.

Zener diode stabilizer
Hello, See my diagram " Stabilisateur Zener.asc " Everything is written in comments in this diagram. I would like to know if the smoothing of the sinus current is indeed in the indicated ratio. Your

Stretch mode LTspice64
Hi, I installed LTspice64 ver 24.0.12 for Windows. Compared to the old LTspiceIV in the on top menu I can see "Duplicate mode, "Move mode" and "Stretch mode". How is the last mode (i.e. stretch mode)

Re: Any Good Reason to Create a Hierarchical Connector and Conductors to Route (Plumb) Ground Out of a Hierarchical Schematic
Actually, it does not.? If you still see "This is ground", then you are not seeing that schematic in the right context! I think there are two ways that can happen: (1) If you opened the schematic

Re: BSS84 models
Bear in mind that FETs can have huge variation from part to part.? For example, looking at onsemi's datasheet, they show a 12:1 variation in transconductance between typical and minimum, and the

Re: Computation Error When Upgrading from LTSpice XVII to 24
Paul, Although I think it is a wise choice to "downgrade" to an older version of LTspice at this time, as you did, I also want to point out that the differences between the two plots are only a small

Re: Trying to use .MOD file in schematic
By the way, nonlinear ferrite bead models are somewhat rare.? It is hard enough giving them the right characteristics vs. frequency.? To add nonlinearity (vs. current) on top of that, would be

Re: LTspice 24.1 Simulation Errors
Your best bet, at the moment, is to dump 24.1 and revert back to 24.0.12. It's usually wise to hang back on "upgrades" if you're doing critical work and haven't any issues with the version you're

Re: Trying to use .MOD file in schematic
As John noted, SPICE's .AC analysis is strictly linear.? It will not show any change versus either DC bias, or AC amplitude.? To see those changes in simulation, it must be a .TRANsient analysis,

Re: BSS84 models
Well, now, your.ASC doesn't work because you haven't uploaded the symbol BSS84z, and if it needs a model to go with it, that needs to be uploaded as well.

Re your 'other question', you need to use .TRAN simulation instead of .AC,? which, as I tried to explain, doesn't work with actual voltages and currents, only ratios. It also assumes linearity, so
