Re: Confused, adding a pin to an existing Symbol and .cir
开云体育Never mind, I finally figured it out: I needed to change only the Spice Model line, to make it unique to the instance. Then, the hidden control voltage must be that same unique name. ? LMH6321 Buffer Not Working
TI supplies a seemingly straightforward spice model for its LMH6321 Unity Gain Buffer.? It requires a modified opamp symbol with only 4 nodes, (IN V+ V- OUT).
I edited a standard opamp symbol to have only the 4 nodes and get the resulting error message:? "Fatal Error: Port(pin) count mismatch between the definition of subcircuit "lmh6321" and instance: "xu1"
The instance has more connection terminals than the definition." ?
I count only 4 pins on the model and 4 pins on my symbol.? Can you see what I am doing wrong?? I will upload my files to temp.
?
Thanks,
Steve Hogan

开云体育Well, it's very difficult to have
'comprehensive' without 'complex', unless you are prepared to
write your own models, or add real-life parameters to existing
simpler models. On 2024-12-22 15:29, Tom via groups.io

Re: Ferromagnetic core modeling.
Interestingly, today I am reading "The Chan inductor does not currently directly support , so unless only a single-winding inductor is being modeled, multiple windings must be added via additional circuitry.? The simplest way to do this is to construct an ideal, unity coupled transformer with as many windings as required and then put the Chan inductor directly in parallel with any one of the windings (taking care to set the turns to match that particular winding).? Since the magnetic effects (including non-saturated inductance) are already modeled by the Chan inductor, the inductance of the transformer's parallel winding must be enough larger (>>10) not to significantly load the Chan inductance.? As before, the inductances for the other windings should be scaled by the square of their individual turns ratios (with respect to the paralleled winding). ". |
