I'm trying to find some information on my father's family;

My father was Wladyslaw SYCZ, born 23 April 1924 in Chryniki, what was then
Poland. His religion was Catholic.

He emigrated to Australia in 1950 aboard the S.S. Nelly. I have very little
information about his family but I'm led to believe that the town of
Chryniki was in the area of Boremel in the County of Dubno. (This
information was from "place names of Volhynia").

Any information no matter how small would help.
