Welcome to the group.? Thanks for posting the link and encouraging your friend John to submit some photos.? My grandfather, Stanislaw Rzepka, was at Penley with I believe the stores dept.? He left approx. 1949 to go to Chicago.? I love seeing photos of the resettlement camp as it gives me a glimpse into what life would have been like for him.

Thanks for the photos, Peter. My dad was?at Loreto too. He was in the 'Children of lwow' regiment in?a tank named "Mur' that got hit. He survived, a few others didn't including the lead.
