Spotting problem

William Buchholz

I can't seem to spot myself on dxscape and without that I'm just wasting a time slot. ARRL isn't forwarding my email for a password.

Bill/K8SYH

Go to http://www.dxsummit.fi/ and you can spot yourself and no pass word needed.

Bill:

?

Send just a few plain ¡°CQ CQ K2B K2B¡± calls and the skimmers will pick you up no problem.

What are the CW guys sending in the CQ string? CQ CQ 13COL K2B or something?

That's what I was sending.

Unless you spot yourself, you might want to mix in a "plain" CQ CQ K2B K2B so that the skimmers pick you up.

Skimmers were occasionally spotting me as "CQ13COL", which I guess is a callsign by there algorithm!
