Lots of QRN! Worked about 120 on my first shift and sometimes, it was pretty hard to pull out the weak ones. It's interesting to see the variety of CW skill levels compared to a contest. I tried to run around 25WPM and I had all kinds of responses from straight keys, bugs, unstable VFOs, awful CW and all kinds of speeds. I think that's one of the reasons I really like doing this event. Variety!
Looking forward to future shifts. Stu2, W7IY |

I almost wore out PG UP and PG DOWN on the N1MM keyboard! I think the range I heard was from about 16 to 30 WPM, with all sorts of "accents". I agree that it is fun to listen to the variety and hear folks working on their skills. I never hesitate to QRS in this event. Run 'em! 73, Rick N1RM -----Original Message-----
