New op... N1MM+ config?
Sean, in the past I have just used "DX? General Logging" in N1MM as my template. As you know, all that is so-called important is to collect callsigns. Jeff, K0ZR On Fri, Jun 28, 2024 at 10:33?AM Sean Walberg N3RTW via <sean=[email protected]> wrote: Hi folks, --

Anyone have special setup for N1MM/WSTTX or JTDX?? Looking for guidance to set up exchange parameters.

Hi folks, |
I believe there is a N1MM+ template (possibly a User-Defined Contest) for 13 Colonies but General DX Logging is fine for our purposes as long as we are certain to create a blank log, no previous QSOs in it. Of course we have to set our callsign to K2B for this log in the setup screen.? For logging FT8/FT4, we also have to set the callsign to K2B. I leave the grid as my own. I clean out the existing ?.adi log file so only the K2B contacts will be in the log. Because stuff happens, I copy this log to a memory stick and/or the cloud after each session.? When the event ends, I import the FTx log file into the N1MM+ log and send it as an .adi to our noble leader.? I¡¯m sure there are other ways that also work but this is how I have done it in the past. 73, Kay N3KN On Fri, Jun 28, 2024 at 11:57?AM Jeff Crawford K0ZR via <kzerozr=[email protected]> wrote:

I installed the N1MM+ User Defined Contest file; it displays the entire exchange for 13 Colonies.? I think it is more intended for chasers but will work fine for us.? Instructions are here:?? and the 13 Colonies files are here:?? ?Outline of what I did (I may be glossing over a few steps)
That was pretty much it.? I'll have to do a few odd things for logging satellite QSOs properly but I think it will work fine.?? 73 Steve KS1G On Fri, Jun 28, 2024 at 1:00?PM Kay N3KN via <kayn3kn=[email protected]> wrote:

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI think you will find that the UDC contest is for hunters, not for us. DX general log was just right for me.?

Here are the first four lines from N1MM's exported ADIF file from that event: ========== ADIF Export from N1MMLogger.net - Version 1.0.9606.0 Built: 7/6/2022 4:43:24 PM K2B logs generated @ 2022-07-08 12:29:41Z Contest Name: 13COLONIES - 2022-07-02 ========== Clearly I was not hunting; I was calling CQ as K2B. It worked fine. And yes, the ADIF contains QSOs from 7/2 through 7/7. 73, Mike N4CF |
