Is anyone on 20 meter SSB?

W2WCM is signed up for 9 to 10 am 20 meter SSB
No sign of K2B on 20 meter phone.
No spots.
I went up and down the phone band, no sign of K2B.

NX3A is on 7214, please spot him.
Nice little pile up, Carl.

If people cannot do their slot, please delete your call so folks like me -- who may have an hour free in an otherwise hectic day -- can get on and do an hour.
As it is, empty air.

Other K2 stations have been spotted at least a hundred times this morning ...

David, K2WPM

I believe if a cell is blank, that slot is open; if you pass your cursor over it and a name pops up, it's someone who used that slot previously, but has since been deleted. ?The sheets are recycled from year to year.

Rick, typing in K2B and using ALT-P has worked.??? The {SPOTME} command in the macro had no effect for me.?? Stu, when I was on 20m earlier I wasn't making many contacts so checked out the RBN and found I was booming into Europe and the west coast but crawling "db" wise in the rest of the USA.? I'm using a dipole at 50 feet. SO I understand the too high antenna issue. This is why we don't do many stateside contests at NR4M....? Tried RTTY earlier for giggles.. zero contacts.?? Competing today with the RAC contest is not helping.... Still having fun. ?? Good luck all.

I'm using the DX contest in N1MM with {SPOTME} macro at the end of my F1 CQ. Spotting makes a big difference in activity. The RBN showed lots of spots, but dxsummit didn't until I started self spotting.

Since my 40m antenna is down, I'm running remote CW using W4NF's in station in Manassas - K4-K4. 40M had lots of QRM, QRN, QSB coupled with the remote audio drop outs - fun first hour! Nice to have 1500W, but we need a lower antenna. Bet you haven't heard that too often!

The Hurricane Watch Net will be activated this afternoon (Sunday) at 3:00 PM EDT (1900 UTC) on 14.325.00 MHz (USB). We remain in operation on this frequency for as long as propagation allows. We will activate this evening at 7:00 PM EDT (2300 UTC) on 7.268.00 MHz (LSB). We will remain active on this frequency overnight for as long as propagation allows. If propagation allows us to operate all night, we will suspend operations at 7:30 AM EDT Monday to allow the Waterway Net to conduct their daily Net.

For this evening and overnight, we will be lining up reporting stations in the path of Beryl. This will allow people to check their equipment and allow us to know where storm shelters are located as well as line up Emergency Operations Centers and Emergency Comms.

For Monday, we will resume operations on 14.325.00 MHz at 6:00 AM EDT (1000 UTC). Also, we will resume operations on 7.268.00 MHz at 8:30 AM EDT (1230 UTC). We will be collecting surface reports and forwarding that information directly to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.

Schedule change

Hello all,
I had signed up for 2 hours on 40 SSB on Tuesday morning but realize I can't do it because my husband has a doctor appointment I must attend with him. So I changed my 40 SSB stint to early afternoon.

40 SSB in the morning on Tuesday should be a busy time, so if someone(s) can pick up a slot or two then, it would likely be productive.

Have fun! 73, Kay N3KN

ADIF Export from N1MMLogger.net - Version 1.0.9606.0
