I just took a look around the CW portions and everything is dead from 80M through 6M with the exception of a few signals on 40M.

I think that more than one station on a band using the same callsign on FT8 would likely be chaos. Also true if more than one was using FT4 on a single band. I hope we won’t do that.?
No problem, however, with one station on FT4 and one using FT8 on the same band. They don’t get in each other’s hair.?

It really should make no difference.?? Imagine there are 4 K2B stations on 40m at the same time.? What does it matter?? At worst there’ll be a few dupes, but overall it expands the log database! ? ? ?

K2B Wednesday 15m FT8 Operation
Just finished 1.5 hrs FT8 on 15.? No lack of traffic there.? Started my beam in Caribbean, slowly moved around the compass to EU then JA and OC. Lots of JA. Conditions are good!

Thanks?for the response David. I will stand down on trying DX unless there is no one signed up for the slot. I did get an email from the "boss" encouraging me to try doing some DX. I think that is why there is an added line for 20 DX. I have 2 hours on 40 meters
tomorrow and Friday, but I see some empty slots on 20 ssb. I will try to do DX again if they are still open. i appreciate your understanding. Frankly I was surprised at how many US stations tried to work me when the beam was pointed to Europe. Have not had
that experience before, but then, I am either looking for DX or the US and not both.

they have been searching for the 13 colonies special event. I apologize sincerely if I stepped on anyone's toes, but I may try to work more 20 ssb DX

I made 35 QSOs on 20 meters FT8 and FT4. I started at 3 PM, moved from FT8 to FT4 at 4 pm, and ended at 4:25 because there just wasn't enough business.
My heat pump is working again so the radio room isn't 88 degrees any more. 73, Kay N3KN

You did great, Chip!? You picked peak time slots on several bands, notably 40m at the beginning of the event.? I was not sure when I’d be home so I didn’t sign up until much later, except for the CWT sessions today.? ?For the most part I found callers all the time.? If I called CQ 15+ times with no answer (spotting myself, too!) I moved to another band.? I also made a special effort to activate K2B on 17m and 30m.? ? I think your and others’ contributions made this year a super success.? Next year maybe we should fly to England and operate the station there!!!! ? Jim, N3JT ?
