Really nice to see folks fill in those slots July 7.

Can you please forward me your logs, at your earliest?? Can you add your call to file name; adif is easiest, but I can pretty much do any format.
I have to get the numbers to Ken by Monday.

I will circulate a summary next week, showing how we all did, and compared to the other colonies.

I regret that because of my grandchild's illness ( hand foot ,and mouth disease), my dog's paw pad infection, and my wife's hospitalization all in the past week, I was unable to participate as I wanted to. Re: Thanks, logs please?

David,

Please find attached two files. One is generated by Log4OM and covers the satellite QSOs I worked The other is the 5 EME contacts for K2B. It's generated by WSJT-X. Wasn't sure if the ADIF versions were different / a problem or not. So left them separate. Thanks for letting me participate this year!

80 CW Slow Speed Operations

Terry KC4DV

Only once station called and was not copyable. We tried but unable to exchange reports. No further takers. S8 to S9 noise, taking a break before my 40 meter 9:00pm shift

Yes. I ran at 23 wpm. When a station sent his call slowly, in M1MM I hit PgDn several times to QRS and match his speed. After the TU, I hit PgUp to go back to my original speed as N1MM sent my call.

I consider slowing down to his speed a courtesy, not a necessity. He probably can copy his own call at 23 wpm, as well as the state, which he already knows.

CW ops

This year I decide to operate at 13 wpm in hopes of attracting more of the slower ops. But I think what it did was just cut my number of contacts in half. What I should of done was send at a faster pace like 22-25 wpm. The slower ops know who is calling and would answer at their best speed. A lesson learned.

40 meters 9-11 am

I logged 20 stations on phone, with long dry spells between calls. At 9:30 I went to FT8, where the calls were mostly steady but as usual with this mode, not at a quick rate. 47 stations in the log.

It's more fun to work a pile-up where everybody and his second cousin twice removed is calling you (as long as they don't act like feral cats). Looking forward to my final slot this afternoon.

N4CF Thursday 9am slot - 40CW

I got on at 9:10 and was encouraged by five contacts in 15 minutes. But then it dried up. After 16 minutes of CQ with no answer (and several self-spots) I gave up at 9:40.

I came back at 10:35 and made 13 more contacts until 11:00.

Thursday

That was fun? Last day is always slow but it has it good points. Had two /AG which is nice plus several people which did not know about the event. Band changed over the shift plus it would go up and down. Now to go up the tower, I have a 36 foot ant which thinks it is a wind mill, not sure what broke. Worked 103 with couple dupes
